Renowned personalities are participating in the International Gita Mahotsav at London

The renowned personalities of the world are participating in the International Gita Mahotsav held at Attlee Hall in British Parliament, London.

In this prestigious event, Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Vipul Goel and Founder of G.I.E.O, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj presented Srimad Bhagavad Gita to Members of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Virendra Sharma and Paul Scully. On the demand of British Members of Parliament, holy book of Srimad Bhagavad Gita will be installed in the UK Parliament.

On this occasion, Member of Paliament of the United Kingdom, Paul Scully said that the Gita is an inspiring holy book for world peace and goodwill. In today’s busy life, people and the whole environment is prone to depression and the Gita gives the message to get rid of it and lead a happy life.

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Vipul Goel said that three years ago, the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has taken the decision to celebrate the Gita Festival internationally. In this series, the Gita Mahotsav has been organized in London this year.

Founder of G.I.E.O GITA, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj said that for the last several years, G.I.E.O GITA has been engaged to ensure reach of Bhagavad Gita to the people. In the International Gita Mahotsavs prganised every year, many big personalities participated including the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, former Union External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, former Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and others.

Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Virendra Sharma said that this is a historic moment when such a big function is being organized on  Gita in this famous hall. The function was conducted by Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University, Dr. Markanday Ahuja. Ambassadors from many countries namely England, Scotland, Island, Russia, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Italy, Canada and Nepal attended the function.

On this occasion, Secretary to the Haryana Governor and Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board, Vijay Dahiya also shared his views on Gita.

The function was attended by the Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister,  Rajesh Khullar, Deputy Commissioner of Panipat,  Sumedha Kataria, representative of the UK Gurudwara Amar Das, Mr. Saggu, representative of the Ravidas Temple South Hall London, Mr. Yograj, OSD to Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Amarendra Singh, Honorary Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board, Mr. Madan Mohan Chhabra, Members namely Mr. Upinder Singhal and Mr. Vijay Narula and General Secretary, Ram Mandir of London, Mr. Balmukund Prasad Joshi.
