Republic Day Celebrated at Rupnagar; Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund unfurls tricolor

On the occasion of 77th Republic Day, Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Labour, Hospitality and Rural Development and Panchayats Tarunpreet Singh Saund unfurled the national flag at the Nehru Stadium, after which he was escorted by Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Aaditya Dachalwal and Senior Superintendent of Police Maninder Singh to inspect the parade.
Congratulating the district residents on Republic Day, the Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that after a long struggle, Bharat Ratna Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar made the biggest contribution to the completion of the work of making the constitution by achieving independence.
He further said that this is a very important and proud day for all the countrymen. He also congratulated the brave heroes of the armed forces of the country who are protecting the integrity and unity of the country.
