Rotary Club Rupnagar facilitates Eye Surgeries

After receiving a request from two patients, Rotary Club Roopnagar facilitated critical cataract surgeries of two deserving patients— Raj Rani from Balachaur and Krishna from Adarsh Nagar Rupnagar. After a medical consultation with Dr. Namrita Parmar of Parmar Hospital, it was determined that both required immediate intervention.

Thanks to the expertise of Past President of Rotary Club RoopnagarDr Namrita Parmar, the surgeries were performed successfully by her on 8th July 2025, restoring vision and hope for the patients. Both patients have been discharged for their home. The entire initiative was generously funded by Rotarian Gurpreet Singh Assistant Governor Zone 7 of Rotary District 3080, whose unwavering commitment to service for humanity continues.
