Rotary Club Rupnagar gets 16 awards at District Award Function

On the successful completion of the remarkable Rotary Year 2024 – 25, Rotary Club Rupnagar bagged 16 awards at the Rotary District award function held at Jagadhari, for the excellent performance & projects completed during the Rotary year. Under the theme – The Magic of Rotary, club virtually created magic by doing total 260 projects under the dynamic, visionary leadership, unwavering dedication and relentless efforts of President Rotarian Kulwant Singh & his team.
At the district level of Rotary District 30380, having 110 clubs spread in five states, Rotary Club Rupnagar won seven awards. Under the individual category – Rtn Arina Chananna was declared Outstanding Secretary wheras under the club & projects category – Excellent Club of the District & awards for Best projects of blood donation, new member orientation seminar, Excellent Rotarian Gagan Saini & RYLA for special children’s at Amujav ManovikasKender. Past President of Club Dr Bhim sain who was Assistant Governor of Zone 5 in the district also awarded as Excellent AG of the District.
At the Zonal level, having six clubs, RC Roopnagar won total 9 awards. Under the individual recognition categories – Best President to Rotarian Kulwant Singh, Rotarian of the Zone for Past president Parminder Kumar, Best Bulletin for Rotarian Ashok Chadha, Active Rotarians of the zone awards bagged by past presidents of the club Prabhjit Singh, Dr JK Sharma, Parminder Kumar & Rotarian Gagan Saini. Under the projects category, club won awards for forming Interact Club, for organizing peace summit at Chandigarh University& organizing series of Dental health check up camps in the district jail of Rupnagar.
Extending their congratulations to the club leadership, Past Rotary District Governors Dr R S Parmar & Chetan Aggarwal appreciated the projects of club. Assistant Governor of Zone 5 Past president Dr Bhim Sain also congratulated the winners.
Speaking at the occasion President Kulwant Singh said that this extraordinary journey would not have been possible without the dynamic efforts of the club members & their tireless work. He also extended his sincere thanks to the steadfast encouragement of Club Counselor, PDG Dr. RS Parmar and the invaluable contributions of PDG Chetan Aggarwal.
