Rottweiler from Shimla, Golden Retriever from Patiala steels the Dog Show organized by Patiala Kennel Club

Patiala Kennel Club Organized its 62nd and 63rd All Breed Championship Dog Shows today at Raja Bhalendra Singh Stadium (Polo Grounds) Patiala under the aegis of Patiala Heritage Festival.
Total 219 Dogs in 33 breed participated in these pointed shows. The Exhibitors from far off places like Chennai, UP, Delhi, HP, Haryana, Punjab and other parts of the country participated in these shows. In the competition judges have a tough time to select the best dog in this pointed Dog Show.
“Patiala kennel club has once again chosen as Nodal club where points will be counted towards selecting the “The Dog of the year”, Reserve Dog of the year”, Best Puppy of the year” & “Best Bred in India Dog of the year”.Pointed dog shows are events where dogs compete against each other to get points. The qualified , experienced Judges evaluate dog’s physical and behavioral traits in this pointed Dog Shows” said GP Singh Brar of the Patiala Kennel Club, affiliated to Kennel Club of India
Deputy Commissioner Patiala Dr Preety Yadav released the souvenir. MLA Patiala Urban Ajitpal Singh Kolhi, Mayor Patiala Kundan Gogia, DIG Patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu, SDM Patiala Gurdev Singh Dham along with other dignitaries visited the Dog Show.
A large number of Labrador, Rottweiler, German Shepherd Dog, Pug, Doberman, Tibetan Mastiff, Beagle participated in these shows. Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Caravan Hound, Chow Chow, Akita, Samoyed, Dogo Argentino etc were the main attraction of the show.
