Rs 80 crore for irrigation in Sri Anandpur Sahib in the Punjab budget :Harjot Singh Bains

In the Budget for 2023-24 presented by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema today, Rs 80 crore has been earmarked for improving irrigation facilities in various areas of Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency.
Giving information in this regard, Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that he had promised the people to ensure water for irrigation in Changar area, which has been realised today.
He said that despite two canals, one river in Anandpur Sahib constituency, the Changar area was longing for water.
He said that in some time the scarcity of water in Changar area will be completely eliminated. Apart from this, the water supply demands of Swamipur Bagh area will be met.
He expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and State Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema for keeping Rs 80 crore under Lift Irrigation Scheme.
