Rupnagar DC conducts checking of various offices on the first day

Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Himanshu Jain conducted a surprise check of various offices on the first day after assuming charge of his office, today.
Deputy Commissioner conduct checking of various departments including CM Window, Employment and Aam Aadmi Clinic and instructed the heads of all departments to direct the employees of the offices under their respective jurisdictions to reach duty on time.
He said that the people coming to the government offices for their work should be listened to diligently and their problems should be solved as a matter of priority. The Deputy Commissioner gave strict directions and said that every officer and employee should reach the offices on time. He said that random checking of any department would be done at any time. For this reason all types of documents, files and other works should be kept updated.
Himanshu Jain said that under the guidelines of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, a zero tolerance policy towards corruption has been adopted and strict action will be taken against any government official or employee who indulges in any kind of corrupt practices.
Deputy Commissioner told the officials that the Punjab Government is committed to do the work of the people on a priority basis, so any kind of complaint should not be considered normal, but should be taken seriously.
He said that such checking in government offices will continue in the future as well. He also instructed to solve the problems of the people on priority basis.
