Rupnagar DC lays the foundation stone of the new building of Kendriya Vidyalaya

Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav laid the foundation stone of the new building of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanpur near Rupnagar.
On this occasion, a special program was organised jointly with the staff and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya. In this programme Deputy Commissioner and Chairman T. Brahmanandam weres the chief guest. Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Jyoti Luthra and students welcomed the Deputy Commissioner by presenting bouquets.
A colourful and cultural programme was also presented on the occasion. Dr. Preeti Yadav also participated in Bhoomi Pujan.
On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav while addressing the students said that “There is no lack of opportunities in life, but we need to develop an understanding of how to use these opportunities for success”.
She said that “we should never give up and look forward to our future. should keep working hard for improvement. He said that school is a very important place in the life of students because after family, school is the only place from where a student spends the important time of his life”.
