Rupnagar Press Club organises “Meet the Press” programme with SSP

Rupnagar Press Club organised Meet The Press Programme with Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) Dr Sandeep Garg on Tuesday.

While speaking on the occasion Dr Sandeep Garg said that the support of the media is essential for the good performance of the police and the media of the Rupnagar district is giving full support to the district police. Various problems related to the district have been solved with the help of the media and it is hoped that this will continue to happen in the future.

The District Police Chief said that his office is always open for media persons.  He said that in order to improve the security system, CCTV cameras  were installed in different places in the district. The work of installing more new cameras is going on at a war level. He announced that the press club also had CCTV cameras will be equipped with safety

Dr. Sandeep Garg said that efforts are being made eradicate drugs menace and large number of drug traffickers have been arrested .

The District Police Chief assured to solve the issues. raised by the media persons and issued instructions to the concerned officials on the spot to solve many problems.

Rupnagar Press Club President Bahadurjeet Singh welcomed the SSP while chief patron Gurcharan Singh Bindra proposed vote of thanks.
