A warm and emotional farewell ceremony was held on January 16, 2025, at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, for the students of Ryan International School, Patiala to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of 2024-25. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of our Managing Director, Dr. Grace Pinto, whose blessings, and inspiring words made the day even more significant and memorable for all in attendance.
The event commenced with a solemn invocation, seeking the Almighty’s presence, and offering heartfelt gratitude for His enduring love and protection. The outgoing students shared reflections on their journey through school, recounting cherished memories and experiences that evoked a blend of laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt emotions among the audience.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the award presentation, where students were honoured for their academic excellence, achievements in extracurricular activities, and contributions to sports. MD awarded and congratulated all the achievers and crowned the Ryan Prince Mst. Hamreet Singh (XIIC) and the Ryan Princess, Ms. Japjyot Kaur (XIIA). This was followed by the symbolic Candlelight Ceremony, where the outgoing batch passed the lighted candles to the School Council of Grade 11, signifying the transfer of responsibilities. This act symbolized the assurance that the school’s cherished traditions would be carried forward with pride and diligence.
The farewell was more than a formal event—it was a celebration of growth, camaraderie, and the indomitable spirit of the students. Musical tributes and video presentations added a touch of warmth and unity, highlighting the strong bond between the students and their alma mater.
In her address, Dr. Grace Pinto blessed the students and encouraged them to embrace truthfulness, sincerity, honesty, and responsibility as the foundations for a successful future. Her inspiring words filled everyone with optimism and determination.
