At every centre, volunteers of the Foundation and members of the Sewadal came in their respective uniforms, while other devotees also joined them. Along with spiritual awakening, the Mission is devoting itself to the service of humanity in several ways. In April 2010, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation was set up to focus on these efforts better. The Mission’s ideology and beliefs encompass ‘Service to Humankind’ as an integral part of its faith for which the Foundation addresses itself to some real issuesof today related to health, education and empowerment of the youth and women. The Foundation acts with the vision of ‘living the spirit of service’ for which it engages individuals with an extraordinary spirit of selfless service. The Foundation envisions a world with smiles, a heaven where all humans are healthy, educated and self-dependent; and as such it would continue to strive to achieve these objectives.
As regards, Tree Plantation and Cleanliness Drive, it has been carried by the Mission regularly on February 23, since 2003. In recent years, various historical monuments, beaches and river banks, hospitals, railway stations and other public places have been focused in particular.
