Sanyukt Kisan Morcha activists block rail traffic at Rupnagar

The activists of Sanyukat Kisan Morcha, blocked rail traffic at Nangal Chowk Rupnagar railway crossing from 11 am to 3 pm. On the occasion, first of all, two minute silence was observed in respect of Shaheed Udham Singh and other martyrs.
The speakers said that our great martyrs and patriots gave us the opportunity to roam freely by making innumerable sacrifices. It was the dream of the martyrs that all Indians in independent India would live a happy life and create a good society by getting economic freedom. However, the current governments have handed over the country’s economic resources to corporate houses and empires and made them their slaves. Due to which the condition of labor farmers is becoming miserable. We have to get our rights through struggle by strengthening the unity of farmers and workers.
They urged the central government was to implement the agreed demands as soon as possible, give remunerative prices of the commodities, give severe punishment to the culprits of Lakhimpur Khiri incident and sack the accused minister immediately, otherwise be prepared to face fierce struggle .
