PSPCL director distribution Er.DPS Grewal has called upon the people to forward to save energy for a brighter and progressive future for the coming generations. Er.DPS Grewal made this appeal, while addressing at the state level energy conservation day at thapar university here today. He said that each and every citizen of the nation should make efforts and contribute for the energy conservation which plays positive role for the society in various walks of the life. He said that recently government of India has awarded the 1st Prize to Punjab for achievements in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency measures. He appreciated the efforts and role of the Punjab energy development authority in various sectors for the energy conservation in Punjab.
Punjab State Power Corporation limited and Punjab Energy development authority has jointly organized and celebrated energy conservation day here today.
Earlier, Er. DPS Grewal inaugurated the state level energy conservation day by lighting up the lamp. He also honoured the winners of students from different schools for declamation contest and poster making competitions.
On this occasion Navjot Pal singh Randhawa CEO PEDA and M.P.Singh Director PEDA,Er.yogesh Tandon director technical PSTCL,Er.Gurpreet Singh chief Engineer distribution south zone, Er.Harjit Singh Chief Engineer IT,Er. Sarao CE TS, Er.Pardeep Kumar CE Civil, Er.J.S.Jammu Dy Chief Engineer DSM and Er.S.M. Chopra SE distribution Patiala also graced the occasion. M.P.Singh director PEDA also highlighted about the various efforts made by PEDA for energy conservation.
