Patiala-Teachers are the backbone of our society .They spearhead change by shaping and building students personality to make them ideal citizens of the country. 5th September Teacher’s Day is a day kept aside to honour – the gifted souls who work tirelessly towards the cause of transformation and development of society. Scholar fields public School Patiala celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and fanfare.
While they played different games like Melody Quiz , Green Grocer,Keynotes etc,organised for them. Vice principal Bindu Kohli emphasised the changing role of teachers in the present scenario and urged the teachers to rededicate themselves in building a healthy and happy nation. In his address to the teachers, The Chairman of Scholar Fields Public School Prof. S. S. Chadha emphasized the fact that education today has emerged as forefront of world’s concern over its future. Therefore teachers have a crucial role to play in preparing young people not only to face the future with confidence but to build it with purpose and responsibility.
A short and interesting programme followed where teachers participated enthusiastically and whole heartedly .The fun filled afternoon culminated with felicitation of the teachers with token of appreciation presented by the Management .It was followed by vote of thanks proposed by the co-ordinator of the school . A sumptuous lunch awaited all with a variety of delicacies to tickle the taste buds. Teachers enjoyed it to the hilt.
