School authorities express resentment over posting of show cause notice on his facebook page by education minister

Dev School Tibba Tapprian managing director Shamsher Singh Dayal has expressed strong resentment over posting of show cause notice issued to the school by the education department for opening the school in violation of government instructions, on his facebook page by the Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains.
While talking to media persons at Rupnagar Shamsher Singh Dayal said that few days back Punjab government has extended the winter vacations of the school going students due to harsh weather conditions till January 8.The concerned information came in to notice through twitter account of Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains on January 1(Sunday) at 7 pm but was not conveyed officially.
He said that at that point of time it was not possible to inform the parents of the students as most of them reside in remote areas of the region where there was telecommunication network issues. So it was difficult to convey the information to the students. Therefore it was decided to ply the school buses at usual time on January 2 to inform the parents about the extension of vacations.
He said that January 2 was a sunny day and 50 percent students were present in the school.At around 12 noon some officials of education department came to school and started videography of the school.
He said that on January 4,a written notice by education department in the name of school was handed over to the school Nanny that guidelines issued by the Punjab government were not adhered to and sought an explanation for opening the school. On the same day he(Shamasher Singh) sent a reply to notice but the notice was already viral on social media though facebook account of education minister Harjot Singh Bains on the night of January 2,which has caused resentment.
Further, he said, as per guidelines of Punjab government and education minister the students were given holidays till January 8.In addition the next guidelines issued by the Punjab government for extending the winter vacations till January 14 were also followed by the school, Shamsher Singh Dayal said.

He said that many institutions have come forward to request education minister and education officers to issue such guidelines or notification on Saturdays so that it could be possible to communicate to the parents timely at ease.
