Science Fair 2019 inaugurated at Thapar Polytechnic College

With more than 100 innovative projects and models on display, Thapar Polytechnic College, Patiala began its 2nd annual two days Science Fair on 31-01-2019. Prof. Prakash Gopalan Director TIET and Chairman Managing Committee was the chief guest and inaugurated the science fair. He was accompanied by Dr. R.S. Kaler(Vice President Managing Committee), Dr. T.P. Singh(Head MED, TIET) and Dr. Gurbinder Singh(Registrar, TIET). Principal, Thapar Polytechnic College extended a warm welcome to all these dignitaries. This Science Fair was the brain child of our visionary principal Dr. Ankush Kansal whose guiding spirit motivated the faculty and the students to achieve excellence.
The ScienceFair piqued the student’s natural curiosity in science and engineering. Students from various schools from all over Patiala and surrounding areas were invited to the fair to develop a strong foundation and passion for creativity and critical thinking. More than 1500 students from 55 schools will be visiting the next day also. Quiz competition, presentations, fun games, project Exhibitions and Logo Making competitions were the highlights of the science fair.
With the guidance and direction of convener of the program Dr. Ritu Jindal (Head Applied Sciences), MS. Anupam Garg (In-Charge Computer Sci. & Engg.ECE and IT) and all the faculty members, the science fair was appreciated a lot from all the corners.
