A Seminar was organized by the Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus to provide students with information about international career opportunities. The seminar offered detailed insights into global hotel management internship opportunities, particularly emerging prospects in Mauritius.

The seminar was addressed by Charan Kamal Singh Parmar, Founder of Pax Edutainment Private Limited. He informed students about the expanding scope of the global hospitality industry, the importance of international exposure and the positive impact of overseas internships on career growth.

During the session, he shared details about a structured 4 to 6-month hotel management internship program available in Mauritius. The program provides practical training in departments such as Front Office Operations, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Room Division Management, Guest Relations and International Customer Service.

He further stated that Mauritius has more than 150 luxury hotels and international resorts, offering students a unique opportunity to learn under high service standards.

Dr. S. S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director of the campus, in his address, said that the hospitality and tourism sector is one of the largest employment-generating industries in the world and holds immense opportunities for youth. He encouraged students to take advantage of such opportunities to elevate their careers to new heights.
