Seminar on waste management under ‘Swachta hi Sewa’ organized by Govt Bikram College

The Eco Club of government Bikram College of Commerce organised a seminar on waste management under the program ‘Swachta hi Sewa’.
As the global standards and urban population is increasing with each passing day, so is urban waste. The aim of this seminar is to develop a holistic approach towards reducing the problem and to sensitize general public about their role.
This seminar also aims at bringing awareness on environmental issues. On this event, students were motivated to make use of dry and wet garbage bins and they were also inspired to install two separate bins for dry and wet garbage in their homes.
On this occasion college teachers Jaspreet, Tarandeep and other staff members were also present.
