Senior Punjab IAS appointed Secretary of a key department by GoI

Punjab’ senior IAS officer Tejveer Singh, of 1994 batch has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petro-Chemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers
The last Punjab cadre IAS officer was Vini Mahajan who had served as secretary in a Jal Shakti department
Another officer Anurag Aggarwal, IAS is posted on a secretary equivalent post as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, not as a full fledged secretary
Presently Tejveer Singh,IAS is Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab Govt
