Senior retired IAS officer appointed as Advisor to PM Modi

Senior retired IAS officer Amit Khare (1985 batch) of Jharkhand cadre has been appointed as Advisor to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
Amit Khare has been appointed on a contract basis “initially for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier”. Khare retired on September 30.
