Shooting competition begins at OP Bansal School Mandigobindgarh

Central Board of School Education (CBSE) physical education and sports has made a curriculum and organize a yearly inter school competition for all the clusters, zonal, and national level for the students of its affiliated schools, to encourage more students participation in sports and physical activities.
Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh is hosting five day CBSE Air Rifle and Air Pistol Shooting Competition 2018-19.Event is held for both boys and girls.
The event was inaugurated by School chairman Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal, and School Principal Sangeeta Sharma along with other shooting officials.
They gave the best wishes to the participant shooters and lighted the lamp to set up the pious atmosphere. The school oath was taken by the school cabinet along with the participant shooters from the various schools. By the end of the first day, 350 shooters participated in Air Rifle and Air Pistol in the categories- U-14, U-17 and U-19.
