Special Buddy Session held at Mohindra College
Govt Mohindra College Patiala organised a special Buddy session at the college auditorium in which students took a pledge against the use of drugs.
PRTC KK Sharma presided over the function. In his address Mr Sharma highlight the various steps taken by the State government to eliminate the use of drugs in the State. He inspired the students to stay away from drugs and achieve their life goals through hard work and dedication in the company of good friends.He added that students can play an important role in curbing the growing menace of drugs.
The college Principal Dr Sangeeta Handa while welcoming the chief guest elaborated the objective and action plan of Buddy system. She said that it’s the need of the hour that that drug menace in the state should be nipped in the bud. A power point presentation prepared by the department of Psychology and Sociology was held to create awareness regarding the aims and objectives of Buddy System.
