Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Organises Soft Skills Training Program

The Department of Training and Placement of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, organised an intensive Soft Skills Training program for the Placement Batch of 2025. The ten-day program is scheduled from May 20, 2024, to May 31, 2024, aiming to enhance the employability skills of the students and is focused on the development of essential soft skills that are highly valued by employers across various industries.

Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Incharge of Training and Placement Cell, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib shared the information about the various initiatives undertaken for the students graduating in 2025. These include soft skills training, technical training, and summer internships. She added that a scheduled two-month break within the semester has been effectively planned to equip the students to face challenges in the industrial life.

Dr. Kamaljit Kaur further informed that the training covers several key areas, including communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, resume writing, interview preparation, leadership, team management, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Dr Kaur affirmed that the students will benefit from the expertise of experienced professionals and industry experts who will provide practical insights and a comprehensive understanding of the skills needed to excel in their professional career.
