Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Signs an MoU with Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya

In a significant step towards strengthening academic collaboration and promoting research excellence, the Department of Chemistry, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its counterpart at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian.
The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University; Prof. (Dr.) Sukhwinder Singh Billing, Dean Academic Affairs; and Prof. (Dr.) Tejbir Singh, Registrar. The dignitaries emphasized that such collaborations play a vital role in fostering quality research, interdisciplinary learning, and the overall academic growth of both institutions.
Dr. Rahul Badru, Head, Department of Chemistry, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, and Dr. Jasminder Singh, Head, Department of Chemistry, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, highlighted that the MoU aligns with a structured framework aimed at enhancing quality education and research opportunities for the present generation. The agreement lays the foundation for collaborative initiatives such as joint research projects, innovation programmes, skill development activities, and the exchange of academic resources.

The partnership is expected to strengthen research output, promote innovation, and provide broader academic exposure to faculty members and students of both institutions.
On this occasion, Dr. Sameer Sharma, Principal, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian, expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University and conveyed his optimism for more such collaborative ventures in the future.
