SSP Fatehgarh Sahib inaugurates Police Canteen

Senior Superintendent of Police Fatehgarh Sahib, Amneet Kondal today inaugurated the Central Police Canteen at Police quarters near Fatehgarh Sahib police station to facilitate the police personnel and retired employees of the Police Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Amneet Kondal, SSP said that the Canteen would go a long way in providing quality products to police personnel’s, para military personnel’s’ , ex police personnel’s and retired police families. She said that apart from getting quality products at subsidies rates, the goods are cheaper as compared to the market rates and the families of police personnel would get the daily needs items at one place. Overall, the goods will be 20 percent cheaper, compared to the market.
Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Navreet Singh Virk said that Punjab police used to make every effort for welfare of its employees and the opening of canteen here is another step towards this direction.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Hardeep Singh elaborated that this police canteen costs is established by spending Rs 14 lacs, for the welfare of the police personnel’s and their families, as all types of basic need items were made available in the canteen. He further informed that trained staff has been deputed for the convenience of the buyers.
After inaugurating the Police canteen, SSP Fatehgarh Sahib along with officers inspected the canteen and interacted with the family members of the police personnel’s posted at Fatehgarh sahib district.
Superintendent of Police (Detective) Harpal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Detective) Jaswinder Singh Tiwana, DSP Fatehgarh Sahib Raminder Singh Kahlon, DSP Khumanon Dharampal Singh, DSP Amloh Sukhwinder Singh, SHO Fatehgarh Sahib,Badali Ala Singh, SHO Bassi Pathana along with other police personnel and families of police personnel’s were also present on the occasion.
