SSP Patiala refurbishing Patiala police; transfer 160 police personnel’s

Vikram Jeet Duggal, SSP, Patiala has transferred and posted 160 more long-staying police personnel at the same station as part of his existing drive to bring more transparency and efficiency in the functioning of the district police.
Duggal said that 60 police personnel of Patiala sub division city-1, 58 police personnel of rural sub division, 19 police personnel of sub division city-2 and 23 police personnel of sub division Nabha who were working at the same station for a long time or were repeatedly posted at the same station, have been transferred to another sub-division or police station on administrative grounds. Earlier, a total of 218 long-staying/posted at the same station in Patiala Sub Division City-2, Sub Division Rajpura, Nabha, Ghanour, Samana and Patran were also transferred.
SSP further said that Patiala Police was working day and night in Corona Epidemic to keep the district crime free as well as to keep the district free of social evils by making awareness campaign.

Earlier SSP Patiala merged the CIA staff of the district (Nabha, Rajpura, Samana, Patiala city-2) and made only CIA Patiala, with headquarters at Patiala and made 20 teams, to look after the work allotted to the CIA wing of Patiala police.
