SSP Patiala suspends one Inspector, one head constable for facilitating Sidhu Moosewala

SSP Patiala Mandeep singh Sidhu said that, on surfacing of a video in which singer Sidhu Moose wala is seen firing,a case FIR no 57 U/S 188 IPC and 51 DMA 2005 was registered in PS dhanuala district Barnala.
Acting swiftly against controversial Punjabi pop singer, Sidhu Moosewala, Barnala police on Monday registered criminal cases against him and five police personnel, after a video showing the singer shooting at a firing range went viral on social media.
One of the Police Personnel in the video is identified as Head Constable (HC) Gagandeep Singh 3330 PTL (Patiala) who was sent unauthorized without informing any senior officer with DSP Daljit Virk DSP Hqs Sangrur by Inspector Gurpreet singh Bhinder SHO julkan district Patiala.
SSP Patiala suspends one Inspector, one head constable for facilitating Sidhu Moosewala. For this lapse Inspector Gurpreet Singh Bhinder and HC Gagandeep Singh are suspended with immediate effect and Departmental enquiries are also initiated against both officers.
In addition to this, a separate show cause notice has been issued to Inspector Gurpreet S Bhinder regarding violation of orders of DGP Punjab vide letter no 320-85 /PS/DGP/ PB ( Unauthorized Deployment of Force ) regarding deduction of three months pay of unauthorized gunmen from him.
