SSP Patiala tops state tally; Patiala bags 52 certificates in Mission Fateh warrior contest

Contributing to Mission Fateh wholeheartedly, Patiala residents bagged 7 Gold, 13 Silver and 32 Bronze ‘Mission Fateh Warrior Certificates by promoting COVID-19 precautions on COVA Punjab app by joining Mission Fateh, so far, said DC Kumar Amit, today.

He further said SSP Patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu had brought the laurels to the city by maintaining top ranking in the state. SSP Patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu has secured the first position in the state by getting 1,73,476 marks in the announced results. Similarly, Six other Mission Fateh Warriors who are among the 100 Mission Fateh Warriors’ list released by the state late last evening, included Ishwinder Singh Grewal, Dr. Malkit Singh Mann,  Navdeep Singh, Bhuvesh Bansal,  Khushdeep Sharma and  Subhash Kumar of Patiala.

Exhorting the district residents for joining Mission Fateh Competition through COVA Punjab app, he said that as of now 3.2 lakh persons are actively competing for the Certificates.
Terming Mission Fateh Competition important for making aware the residents of COVID-19 precautions such as to wear mask, wash hands frequently and maintain social distancing, Mr. Kumar Amit said that the Mission in fact had been launched by Punjab CM for sensitizing the people of these precautions to defeat the disease by awareness.

He said that the Chief Minister has extended the Mission Warrior Competition by another two months and the next higher level of Diamond Certificate has also been introduced. During this two month period Punjab CM shall continue to award weekly Bronze Certificates, fortnightly Silver Certificates and monthly Gold Certificates, he further added.

Persons who have already been awarded a gold certificate will not be eligible for another gold certificate or silver certificate or bronze certificate, but they can continue to participate and attempt to win the Diamond Certificate, he said by adding that someone who has won the Silver certificate can continue to try and win a Gold Certificate and Diamond Certificate.
