Student hoisted a Tricolor flag at 10400 feet high Mountain

Students of Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) are not only performing outstandingly in academics but are also making the institution proud by performing well in sports activities. It is a pride moment for BFGI that Harjinder Singh a student of B.Ed. (batch 2018-20) of Baba Farid College of Education, Bathinda hoisted tricolor flag at a height of 10400 feet high Mountain ‘Mariddo’ which is nearby Patalsu peak (Himachal Pardesh). During NSS National Adventure Camp at Manali which was organized by Central Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, he did very well in different type of trackings with his courage and dedication and after crossing every obstacle, he reached his destination and hoisted the tricolor flag at 10400 feet high snowy Mountain peak ”Marido’.It is worth mentioning that earlier Harjinder Singh had also surpassed 12000 feet high chanderkhani pass.
Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, BFGI congratulated Harjinder Singh and his parents for this wonderful success and also and gave him best wishes for future success. . He said that for such adventure games need of good health, proper technique and knowledge as well as a lot of encouragement. With this encouragement, this praiseworthy student of Baba Farid College of Education has illuminated the name of his parents, organization and the region by climbing 10400 feet high snowy mountain ‘Mariddo’. Principal, Faculty members, Staff and all students of Baba Farid College of Education also congratulated Harjinder Singh for this foremost achievement.
