Keeping her words, on the first day of phase 3 lockdown, 2014 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre resigned from the prestigious service citing “personal safety on government duty”.
Nagar, expressed her desire to resign from the service ‘after the lockdown’ and go back to her native place in Uttar Pradesh, on social media.She even sent her resignation through social media. She had cited issues related to her personal safety on government duty. Nagar currently lives with her sister in Chandigarh.
Even as the top administrators across the country are busy pushing relief work by all means, as the deadly Covid-19 pandemic continues to play havoc in most of the states, IAS officer Rani Nagar resignation from IAS post, shocked everybody.
Rani Nagar, 2014 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre currently posted as Additional Secretary to Government of Haryana and Additional Director, Social Justice and Empowerment, and Additional Director, Archives, to Government of Haryana ,sent her resignation to the state chief secretary with a request to forward it to the competent authority in the Central Government for acceptance.
