Summer camp at Rayat Bahra School concludes

PATIALA: The Rayat Bahra International School celebrated the closing ceremony of a nine-day summer camp. The aim of the summer camp was to develop various skills like cooking without fire, art and craft, singing, dancing, table manners and etiquettes and personality development.

The students in the age group of 3 years to 14 years attended the summer camp and participated in the closing ceremony of the Summer Camp. The ceremony started with the prayer followed by yoga, modeling, Kalbelia, English songs and folk dance. The students also performed Kalbelia dance which is one of the most sensuous dance forms of Rajasthan, performed by a tribe by the same name. This dance is performed to celebrate any joyful moment in the community and the children gave a brilliant performance.

Simrit Khatra, Principal of the school, explaining the importance of the Summer Camp said that summer camps played a vital role in the overall development of the students. The things learnt by students in summer camp are engraved on their minds which come in handy as and when required.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra , Chairman of the Rayat-Bahra Group, appreciated the importance  and outcome of the Summer Camp. He conveyed his best wishes to the children and their parents.

Dr Piush Verma, Campus Director, lauded the work of art created by the students of the Rayat Bahra International school and appreciated the performance of the children. Dr Verma also congratulated the school staff for putting their best efforts to prepare the small kids for those performances.
