Supporting Sikh community gets Haryana CM a letter of appreciation from the United States senate

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has received a letter of appreciation from the United States Senate for doing several works in the interest of the Sikh communities and for the State Government’s continuous support given to the Community.

While, a delegation including Indiana, United States (US) based prominent Sikh American and chairperson of Sikhs Political Action Committee (PAC), Gurinder Singh Khalsa,  Principal Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Delhi, Dr. Jaswinder Singh and an Information Technology (IT) Expert and Entrepreneur Vishal Malik met  Haryana Chief Minister at his residence, here yesterday. During the meeting the delegation also handed over a resolution passed by the US Senate.

Giving more information, an official spokesman said”Supporting Sikh community gets Haryana CM a letter of appreciation from the United States senate that had unanimously passed the resolution on November 14, 2019, recognizing the historical, cultural, and religious significance of the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak and the contributions and sacrifices by Sikh Community.

The Chief Minister appraised the delegation about the efforts being made by the State Government to protect the Sikh Heritage in state and about the Lohgarh Trust and he also thanked Indiana Senator Todd Young for his complements and special gesture.
