Suspended SSP, AIG revoked by Punjab govt; orders suspension period be treated as duty period

The suspension order issued in respect of Swarandeep Singh, PPS and Harpreet Singh Mander, PPS are revoked with immediate effect. The officers shall assume the charge of AIG Flying Squad, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, SAS Nagarand SSP, Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar. About the status of revocation of SPS Parmar’ s suspension orders is not immediately known.
As per the orders, the period of suspension of the officer shall be treated as duty period.
Earlier, on April 25,2025 the Punjab government had suspended the chief director vigilance SPS Parmar, IPS along with AIG Vigilance Harpreet Singh, SSP Vigilance Swarandeep Singh for misconduct and dereliction of duty.
