The suspense on Punjab IAS officer resignation deepens as both the state chief minister and union minister have given different statements.
Today afternoon Paramapal kaur Sidhu, IAS had joined BJP and after few hours of her joining, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann tweeted that her resignation is yet to be accepted by the state government . He tweeted “Parampal Kaur ji’s resignation as IAS officer has not been accepted by Punjab Govt..Biba ji was in such a hurry to become IAS..any way to quit..please understand how to resign..otherwise life long. earnings may be at risk.
But, Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri claimed that the resignation of Parampal Kaur Sidhu, IAS, daughter-in-law of SAD leader Sikander Singh Maluka, was accepted yesterday, a day before she joined the BJP.
Puri shared this information while he was addressing the press conference at party New Delhi office where Parampal Kaur Sidhu, IAS along with her husband Gurpreet Singh Maluka joined the saffron party.
