Talwandi Sabo Power Limited Observes National Safety Week

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), largest thermal power plant in Punjab observed 51st National Safety week upholding its pledge to make TSPL safest place to work. The week-long celebration commenced on 26th February with flag hoisting by Pankaj Sharma COO, TSPL. This was followed by TSPL and its business partner KEPCO KPS employees taking safety pledge to be ever vigilant and mindful of safety protocols during and after office hours.
Employees were encouraged to participate in the host of activities lined up for the week such as Hazard Hunt Competition, drawing,painting, essay, and slogan writing competition on safety theme. Exhibitions,rally, community meetings, health awareness programs and safety quizzes also formed the part of the week long campaign. The celebration culminated with felicitation of winners of various competitions at the closing ceremony on 4th March.
Emphasizing upon the need to ensure safety in every aspect of life Pankaj Sharma COO TSPL said,”At TSPL we believe safety is paramount. This year we celebrated the theme for national safety week ‘Nurture young minds develop safety culture’with myriad activities ranging from flag hoisting,pledge, rally to poster and slogan to community awareness sessions with innovate ideas pouring in from employees for enhancing safety culture.”
