Talwandi sabo power plant CEO inaugurates community park

As a responsible corporate citizen Talwandi Sabo Power Plant (TSPL) has undertaken several CSR initiatives for community development around its plant operation. On 29th Feb 2020, amidst a gathering of approx. 80 villagers led by Sarpanch and Panch Sadasya, Vikas Sharma CEO & WTD TSPL inaugurated ‘Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park’ a community park developed by TSPL in Chehllanwali village of Mansa.
It is a delight to see complete transformation of once waste dump into a community park with children enjoying the swings, elderlies basking in the Sun, reminiscing the old glories days.
Reiterating company’s commitment towards holistic development of the area, Vikas Sharma said ,“ We assure you of our full support to develop this village into a model village”.
Village Sarpanch Baldev Singh lauded the efforts of the company and presented an appreciation letter to the CEO in presence of community members and hoped for continued support.
Present on the occasion were Khirod Barik Head HR TSPL, Krittika Bhatt, Head CSR, Preeti Rawat and Arunima Bhattacharya from CSR team TSPL.

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) was incorporated as an SPV by Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) with the purpose of constructing a 1980 (3×660) MW thermal power plant at Village Banawala, Mansa-Talwandi Sabo Road, District Mansa, Punjab, India.
