Tarn Taran district police is intolerable towards drug peddling -SSP

Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Tarn Taran , Dhruman H Nimbale IPS, said that “the Tarn Taran district police is intolerable towards drub peddling in the district.”
While giving information about the drug seizure, Nimbale said “an assistant sub inspector (ASI) Gurmail Singh, in charge narcotics cell of the district police captured a drug peddler and recovered 1125 drug forming tablets from Gurpreet Singh alias Tota, a resident of Sadhu Wala, Tehsil Zira, district Ferozepur. A case under section 22 (C), NDPS act has been registered at Harike police station. Gurpreet is an offender and have five cases already registered against him, in different police stations of Punjab.”
Nimbale further added that “sub inspector Lakhbir Singh SHO, City Patti, on a secret information, intercepted a white Scorpio, driven by Gurchet Singh alias Cheti and on checking the police party recovered 450 gm Heroin, 2 illegal pistols with 50 cartridges, 3 magazines, 47000 drug money, two electric weighing machines. A case under section 21,22 NDPS Act and 25 Arms act at Patti City police station has been registered against him.”
