Tax relief! ITR and Audit Report Deadlines Extended Further

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in its orders issued on Wednesday, has extended the due date of furnishing of Return of Income for the Assessment Year 2025-26 to December 10,2025.
Earlier, the date for furnishing the return was October 31,2025.
The Board, has also extended the Report of Audit for the Previous Year 2024-25 (Assessment Year 2025-26) from October 31,2025 to November 10, 2025.
