Teej celebrated at Scholar Fields School in traditional way
Patiala-Scholar Fields Public School is famous for its traditions and norms. Today keeping its traditions alive “Teej Festival” was celebrated in the school with new colours.
Girls of the school performed Punjabi Gidha and other traditional dances on the stage. To make the aura more colourful, a Mehandi competition was also organized and student expressed their joy by swinging.
Female teachers were gifted Bangles by the management and the sweet, famous in ‘Saawan’, ghevar was distributed. Principal of the school, Chandandeep kaur spoke on the importance of day in the assembly and congratulated everyone.
