Thapar Polytechnic organized two days TECH UTSAV 2023

On 19-20 October 2023,Thapar Polytechnic College, Patiala organized a science fair named“Tech Utsav”.The event spread over two days and had several students and faculties participating and collaborating hand in hand to make the event successful.
On 19th October 2023 the event started at 10 o’clock.The chief guest for this event was Anil Bhargava, Chairman, Managing Committee, TPC and the Guest of honor was Dr. Gurbinder Singh, Vice Chairman, Managing Committee, TPC and Registrar, TIET and on 20th October 2023 Dr. Padma Kumar Nair, Director, TIET, Patiala was the Chief Guest of the day.
The event was inaugurated by the worthy Principal Dr. Ankush Kansal, who gave a warm welcome speech and requested the chief guest and gust of honors to assist him in lighting the lamp or cutting the ribbon.
The Science Fair, a much-anticipated event at Thapar Polytechnic College, saw an array of engaging and insightful projects highlighting our talented students’ dedication and creativity. Students from various departments presented their research, experiments, and inventions. Participants vied for recognition in different categories, including Best Overall Project, Most Innovative Concept, and Most Impactful Research.
Celebration galore, music, and dance filled the campus with joy and enthusiasm. Science fair is held every year in Thapar Polytechnic College with great excitement. All the students looked forward to this event and participated with immense enthusiasm. The major focus of the exhibition was on AI and machine learning to give the students better exposure to the trending scenarios of the industry. The Science Fair was also a platform for our students to interact with esteemed faculty members and respected judges who evaluated the projects based on scientific rigor, presentation, and overall impact. The event encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of knowledge.
In the two days, Students from many top-notch schools in Patiala district participated in the event. Approximately 3000 school students’ from more than 60 Schools aphorisms the models, projected prepared by TPC students, and understood different ideas enthusiastically. They also participated in many other interesting activities such as logo-making, cultural programs, and Fun activities.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony that recognized outstanding projects and encouraged participants to continue their pursuit of scientific excellence.
