The change of power in the Rupnagar Municipal Council has exposed collusion between Cong and AAP-Lalpura

BJP Rupnagar District President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, saying, “Today is a mirror for Rupnagar politics. The internal collusion between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party has now been exposed before the public.”
Lalpura said, “The Aam Aadmi Party has now completely become the Congress’s ‘B-team.’ Faking conflicts in front of the public and internally sharing power is the hallmark of their politics. Those who couldn’t bring any development to Rupnagar in the last four years, what will they do in the remaining four or five months? This is all a game of saving their seats and grabbing power; it has nothing to do with serving the public.”
The BJP district president said that the Congress councillors wasted their entire tenure in the municipal council elections. “The people of Rupnagar have been struggling with potholed roads, broken streets, out-of-service lights, and a poor sanitation system for four years. The city’s problems remain the same. In these four years, no plans were made, and no development was seen. Congress leaders remained confined to their positions, and the Aam Aadmi Party only made a show of it.”
Lalpura said that the public should now understand that “the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party’s thinking is limited and selfish. They have neither a vision nor any honest plans for the public. Their politics is limited only to cheap popularity, false promises, and a hunger for power.”
He also said, “Today, immediately after becoming the president and vice president both leaders obtained the MLA’s ‘blessings,’ proving that this entire script was pre-written. This is a political joke played on the public. Those who had won the public’s trust are now betraying them. This new drama has been created to fool the people of Rupnagar.”
Lalpura alleged that “Over the past four years, the Rupnagar Municipal Council has become a hub of political bargaining. Development projects have stalled, administrative work is stalled, and now this alliance is limited to the exchange of seats. This alliance of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress is known only for power, not for service.”
The BJP leader said that the people of Rupnagar must now understand who is truly working for the people and who is merely pretending for power. The BJP is the only party dedicated to transparency, accountability, and development. We will put the city back on the path to development.
Ajayvir Singh Lalpura said that , “The people of Rupnagar have now recognized this false alliance. The time has come for the people to respond to these power-hungry parties with the power of their vote. The BJP stands with every citizen of the city, and we will ensure that Rupnagar once again sees honest, transparent, and progressive governance in the coming days.”
