Three day seminar on ‘Union Budget 2023-24’ concluded at IET Bhaddal

IET Bhaddal Technical Campus Rupnagar organized 3 days seminar on union budget 2023-24.
The main aim of this session was to enlighten the students on the significance and essence of the budget as a foundation of hope and inspiration to build a new India.
On first day College organized guest lecture talk on “Making & Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24‟ for students and staff. The speaker of the session was Raghav , Finance Officer.
He highlighted the “Black Budget”,‟Carrot and Stick Budget” and “Dreams Budget”. He caught the attention of the students by talking about the “halwa tradition‟ followed every year during discussions held for preparation of budget.
On second day , A Live telecast of Union Budget 2023-24 was organized for the college students and staff .The students were acquainted with the classifications and new changes of the Budget.
On third day college organised post budget analysis of Union Budget 2023-24 .
Raghav highlighted the 7 priority area i.e. ‘Saptrishi’ of the budget. He emphasised that success of digital payments has to be replicated in agriculture sector. Students also actively participated in the review and presented their views.
Dr. S.S. Bindra, Director-Campus appreciated the initiative for creating a collaborative learning platform to develop students understanding about the country’s budget. He added that, with holistic growth of students in mind, IET BHADDAL would organise such sessions on regular basis.
The session turned out to be very interactive one.
