Thrill to see his country aircraft,bought Czech Pilot to Patiala
Patiala-Eagerness, love and passion for flying machines, attracted a Czech Republic pilot to visit Royal City Patiala . Roman Kramarik a Czech Pilot today specially visited Patiala, enroute to world tour to see Two Aircrafts of Czechoslovakia given to Patiala Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College, at Patiala in early 80’s by the Government.
Enroute of his circumnavigating the World, Roman Kramarik landed in Delhi and then especially visited Patiala Aviation Club by road, as he didn’t get the permission to fly to Patiala from DGCA (Director General Civil Aviation) to see two Czech Republic aircraft’s, ZLIN 326 which is lying with Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College. Roman Kramarik is flying solo circum navigating the world to mark 100 years of Independence of Czechoslovakia. He is expected to complete this tour in 36 days and will land back in Prague on September 8, 2018.
An aviator since 1989, Flight instructor, aerobatic pilot and a gliding enthusiast, Roman won the 2008 Czech aerobatic championship (sportsman category). He works as a lawyer. In 2009 Roman took a brief secondment as a deputy minister of transport in a technocratic government. Flying was a childhood dream that became true for Roman. I usually fly abroad with a Cessna P210N OK-TGM. The “TGM“ designation , which is the acronym of Tomas Garrigue Masaryk- First President of Czechoslovakia, brought me to the idea of flying around the world on the 100th anniversary of our independence as a part of patriotism.
Roman Kramarik is a Lawyer by profession and hobby flyer. He had his training in Czech Aviation Training Centre, Czech Republic. During his tour to the Patiala Aviation Complex, he was impressed with the facilities of Patiala Aviation Club and Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College. He wanted that unserviceable Czech aircraft which are lying here, be made serviceable. He will try to arrange serviceable engines for that. The head of Economic Section of Czech Republic Milan Taus and Director, Czech Aviation Training Centre, Major Guneet Chaudhary had also visited with them. Czech Aviation Training Centre trying to collaborate with Punjab State Civil Aviation Council for the upgradation of the aviation facilities at Patiala. Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS CEO, Punjab State Civil Aviation Council and Col RPS Mahal, Senior Advisor, Civil Aviation, Punjab briefed them about the facilities at Patiala Aviation Complex and K.D. Singh Chief Engineer Department of Civil Aviation, Punjab took them to tour of aviation complex and briefed about the facilities available at PAMEC and upgradation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Diploma Course to B.SC (Hons.) AME with affiliation to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda.
