To help admission seekers in Govt Bikram college, authorities set up a help desk

An admission Help desk/ Reception counter has been set up at Government Bikram College of Commerce ,Patiala as per the directions issued by Dept. Of Higher Education ,Punjab under the guidance of College Principal Prof Dr. Kusum Lata. It is an initiative by the Govt .of Punjab to increase enrollment in Govt .colleges of Punjab.This is done in order to facilitate and provide assistance to the students aspiring for entry point enrollment in undergraduate courses, B.Com and B.C.A.
The On Line Centralized Admission Portal –https://admission.punjab.gov.in is now open for registration.The members at the help desk are assisting the students for completing their online registration and also answering the queries if any by the students or the parents. The admissions in the college will be purely on merit basis and the college last year cut off for admission was 91.4% and it is likely to go up this year.
To help admission seekers in Govt Bikram college, authorities set up a help desk.There was a long queue at the help desk throughout the day .Special guidance is being provided to the students regarding Post Matric Scholarship as per Pb. Govt direction so that the maximum number of students are benefitted from these schemes.
