Today Congress may get political shock in Punjab; 6 Congress, SAD leaders may join BJP

In a major setback to the Punjab Congress, four of its former ministers Dr Raj Kumar Verka, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Singh Kangar and Sundar Sham Arora along with former MLAs Kewal Singh Dhillon, family of Amrik Singh Dhillon are set to join the BJP in the presence of Union home minister Amit Shah in Panchkula on Saturday.
Former shiromani akali dal from Bathinda Sarup Chand Singla is also expected to join BJP in the presence of Amit Shah.
The mass exodus from the Congress comes after the exit of former Punjab chief Sunil Jakhar, who also joined the saffron party last month.
Union home minister Amit Shah is interacting with Punjab and Haryana BJP workers in Chandigarh and Panchkula on Saturday. He will be inaugurating the 4th Khelo India Youth Games in the evening.
