Trained teachers further impart training to school teachers in K.V.No.1

A group of eight resource persons trained by the Zonal Institute of Education and Training in Chandigarh imparted training to the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 during the two days workshop held in the school premises on Monday.
Divulging details about the workshop, school Principal Archana Jaiswal said that 51 teachers participated in this workshop which was aimed to improve the content by the teacher. Beside teachers of K.V.No.1, 51 teachers from various other schools in the state too participated in the workshop.
On day one of this workshop all the participants gave their introduction after which Gurpreet Kaur delivered her lecture on improving the methods of teaching and second session was on data visualization which was presented by Ishwar Dass.
The post lunch sessions were about the topics–Django (Computer Application) and Python (Computer Language) by S.L. Yadav and Taranjit Singh. While S.L. Yadav also demonstrated a project developed by him. The last sessions were brain storming and interactive and all the participants learnt about the ways of teachings from these sessions.
Second day of the workshop started with the sessions conducted by Ranvir Singh wherein he taught various methods to improve results both quantatively and qualitatively. He mentioned 10 teaching methods like cooperative learning, collaborative learning, inquiry method, 2_+ 2 theory, space learning, preview method etc.
In her concluding address, school principal Archana Jaiswal said that the two day in house workshop was aimed to enrich the content taught to the school children especially in the subject of computer science and IP for class XII this year. The workshop was beneficial for all the participants which also helped in providing a platform to discuss important academic aspects of Computer Science.
