Trendsetter-Police DAV Public Patiala organised virtual investiture ceremony

The investiture ceremony of Police DAV Public School Patiala, for the academic session 2020-21, was held online on 7 August 2020, investing its outstanding students as office bearers. The ceremony was conducted with a high degree of enthusiasm and sincerity.
The virtual occasion was graced by the MeenaThapar, Principal Police DAV Public School, Patiala, alongwith the students and staff of the school.
Police DAV Public School has always moved ahead with a vision of inducing a sense of responsibility and leadership qualities in its students and giving badges and responsibilities is a step further in this direction.
The ceremony took off with lots of zeal & enthusiasm. It commenced with the invoking the blessings of the Almighty with the Shabad recitation by the school choir followed by the school song.
Later students were asked to show the badges and sashes given to them before. The school elected Bipanjit Singh as Head Boy and Nancy as Head Girl. The house captains elected were -Amanpreetkaur and Jaskaran Singh (Jasmine House), Bhavya and Vishwajeet Singh(Pansy House), Arshpreetkaur and Simranjeet Singh (Tulip House), Chhavi Aggarwal and Avinash(Zinnia House) . The school prefects appointed were Bhavika and Simar Sindhi. The school captain will be Balkaran Singh along with Yatin and Manjeet Kaur as Cleanliness incharges. Discipline of the school will be looked after by Sarabjot Singh and Navjot Kaur and Gurnoor Singh will be Media Secretary. Suhani will look after activities as Cultural secretary. Shireen was elected as the Sports Secretary.
Later the members pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The school head girl delivered vote of thanks on behalf of the student council.
The Principal MeenaThapar congratulated the newly elected student’s council and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.
