First May is celebrated as Labour Day to recognise the untiring efforts of millions of labourers and helpers.
A special assembly was conducted by the Jasmine House to appreciate and honour the Support staff at Police DAV Public School Patiala.
Suhani of class 10th paid her heartfelt gratitude to all the helping staff members on behalf of all the students and teaching staff .She thanked and praised them through a touching poem .
Principal Mohit Chug praised their efforts in lending their helping hand in maintaining cleanliness and other facilities in the campus.On the special day ,gifts were given to all of them and after the assembly a treat was given to them in which all the supervisors and Principal joined.
One of the representatives of the Support staff said in his Thanking speech that they all were overwhelmed with the gesture shown towards them and they would work and pray for the progress of school with more enthusiasm.
PRINCIPAL’S DAY also falls on the same day So, it was an opportunity for the students and teachers to show their love and respect for the head of the institution. A speech was delivered by Diya of class10th on the special day .She thanked Principal.
Principal Mohit Chug for guiding and motivating them to touch the pinnacles of glory.Hand made cards and gifts were presented to him as token of love and gratitude.
