Two BJP leaders arrested by Jalandhar police; Preneet Kaur sat on dharna in a village in Patiala

Punjab Police has taken away two BJP leaders – former MP, MLA Sushil Rinku and MLA KD Bhandari from Shahkot .
As per available information, Sushil Rinku had gone to Adampur assembly constituency and KD Bhandari had gone to Shahpur assembly constituency to set up camps related to the public schemes of the central government.
Anticipating a situation of conflict at these camps, the police have rounded up both the leaders. Currently, both the leaders are in police custody
As per reports they were holding a camp for the residents when police came in action.
No official confirmation about their arrest, why they are detained or taken away is received from Jalandhar police.
In another incident, former lok sabha MP from Patiala Preneet Kaur is staging a dharna at village Massingan in Sanour in Patiala district after she was stopped by some villagers to hold a camp in the village.
