UBS of GNDU organized virtual guest lecture on entrepreneurship as career

The University Business School (UBS) of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar organized an interactive virtual session on 18th March with famous industrialist Harjinder Singh Cheema (Chairman of Cheema Boilers Ltd).
He has won many awards in the field of innovation and acts as an advisor in many vocational institutions. The topic of the discussion was Entrepreneurship as a Career option for students. According to Dr. Gurpreet Randhawa (HOD, UBS), the main purpose of this lecture was to create awareness in the minds of MBA students so that they can become job creators rather than merely job seekers. In this way, they can help society and economy.
Cheema presented and quoted the live examples of successful entrepreneurs. He also narrated his own life journey as a businessman, the struggle he had faced, the hindrances he had overcome, the huge employment generated by his company and the success enjoyed by their company.
UBS of GNDU organized virtual guest lecture on entrepreneurship as career. Further, he also motivated students to pursue their dreams and passion, build up the courage to take risks and other qualities that are essential to be a successful entrepreneur. In the end, Dr. Pavleen Soni, Associate Professor, UBS presented vote of thanks to the guest speaker of the day.
